Put like a pearl in the old town there is "Monteforte Resort", an ancient building of 1850, recently restored by architect Osvaldo Costa of Casarano, 30 mt far from Castello dei Principi d'Amore, of Norman period. The architect Costa, restoring the building of 1800, has been able to reconcile the ancient with a bit of modern in a beautiful mixture of technique and colours which make this building the buttonhole of the hotel of this bud of the ancient Messapian civilization.
